    COMP Hack Guide.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
Known COMP Hack bug: Virus Debuff does not disappear after completing dungeon.

    Info before reading:
    >The Demon reward at the end of each dungeon is RANDOM.
    >You do not need an extra COMP space if you can't get one, but you need a free inventory space for the COMP Repair Data which you turn in for the random demon.
    >You can complete these dungeons as many times as you want.

So, ever wondered about the NPC's standing around in town that ask for replacements of their DB software? Yea, that's how you get to do a comp hack dungeon.

First you need an IC chip.

    The COMP-Hack Guide 4876

    » You get these from:
    »» Kodama Boss
    »» Unicorn Boss
    »» Cait Sith Boss
    »» Poltergeists
    »» Cait Siths
    »» Junkerman
    »» Plasmas
»» You can also expect to get them from many other demons, however the ones listed above have a higher chance to drop them.

Once you have the IC chip, go to Home III and speak with the NPC in front of the Virtual Battle Machine. She will install the new software on the chip and give it back to you in the form of "Hacked Chip A."
Alternatively, you can convert your IC chip with an Innocent in the Control Room in Babel, if you have finished chapter 1 of your story quest.

» There are four COMP Hack dungeons:
»» Newbie Demon Buster (Home III. In the grassy area with a Jack Frost demon.)
»» Young Demon Buster (Home III camp)
»» DB Watanabe (Shinjuku Babel. Outside of the armor shop)
    »» DB Hasegawa (Ichigaya. x15, y23)

    » Difficulty Level of Dungeons:
»» Newbie Demon Buster - Easy
»» Young Demon Buster - Easy
    »» DB Watanabe - Medium
    »» DB Hasegawa - Hard

    » Recommended fighting strategy:
»» Newbie Demon Buster - Be sure to buy a lot of Agi and Zio stones from the magic shop. I'd recommend you buy 50 of each if NOT a mage with these skills
»» Young Demon Buster - Recommended to have Gunner in party.
»» DB Watanabe - You're working with Elements, so a mage is useful...
»» DB Hasegawa - Please take extreme caution as this dungeon is extremely dangerous and should be avoided if not over level 60, AND it is done during No Death Penalty, because under normal circumstances it is near impossible if you do no have both these requirements.

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Newbie Demon Buster~

    The COMP-Hack Guide Comphack1

» You will be debuffed with a Virus. This decreases your HP over time, so act quick and pay attention.
»» 12 pixies in the first room.
»» Kodamas in the next room.
»»» These kodamas are invincible to physical attack. In order to determine which element they are of, throw an Agi stone at one. If its HP goes down quite a bit, it is susceptible to flame. If it doesn't, it is susceptible to Zio. Be warned, if you do not act quick in this room, the kodamas will keep spawning.
»» Once you complete each room, an Update Program appears. Once this appears, the virus debuff should go away.
    » Boss Room:
»» Electronic Fairy Oberon: Mostly counters your attacks, spin attack often to break his shield.
»» Electronic Fairy: Watch out for these little buggers. They heal Oberon often. Kill them before they get the chance to.

Demon Prizes: Mou-ryou, Empusa, Shiisa, Inexperienced Hathor, Lucky Datsue-ba, Accomplished Erthys, Storm Pixie

    ------------------------------------------------------

    Young Demon Buster~

    The COMP-Hack Guide Comphack2-1

»» Once you get into this dungeon, a small Oni boss will appear. After you kill this boss, it will respawn only larger. This continues and in the end you would've killed 5 demons total. The fifth being the largest and strongest. No known susceptibilities besides normal swordplay and/or your weapon of choice. (holy crap thats a word!)

Demon Prizes: Feng Huang, Kikuri-Hime, Apis, Inexperienced Mothman, Accomplished Unicorn, Accomplished Aeros, Blizzard Jack Frost

    ------------------------------------------------------

    DB Watanabe~

    The COMP-Hack Guide Comphack3-1

» In the first room, three types of blobs appear, 3 of each blob.
»» Use spin attack to break the blob's shields.
»» Use counter or elemental skills, as the blobs are weak to these. Each blob is weak against a different elemental magic. [Creds to Cenauge]
»» In the next room, the boss room, three HUGE versions of each blob appear. They all have the same weaknesses as the smaller versions.
»» (Tip) The green blobs are more susceptible to blunt weapons, while the red and black blobs are nearly impervious to blunts and weak to slash weapons. Also, counter is your friend ^_^

Demon Prizes: Sarasvati, Artemis, Baphomet, Inexperienced Ganga, Inexperienced Decarabia, Accomplished Aquans, Inferno Pyro Jack

    ------------------------------------------------------

    DB Hasegawa~

    The COMP-Hack Guide Comphack4-1

»When you first go in, you must activate the Program at the back.
»» When you start the program, Dabster Titanias spawn along with the countdown of 3 minutes to kill them all. If they aren't all killed, well.. nothing happens.
»» Once you kill them all, you can proceed to the next room, of which has 3 Succubus, Yaksinis, and Furies. Kill these and you can go to the next room.
»» In the next room, there are Dabster Pixies, a Dabster Sarasvati, and a Dabster Yomotsu-Shikome.
»» You don't need to kill the Yomotsu or the Sarasvati, if you just kill the pixies, you complete the Hack, and can get your prize.

Demon Prizes: Hua Po, Artemis, Kali, Parvati, Valkyrie, Coatlicue, Inexperienced Yaksini, Inexperienced Succubus, Accomplished Ameno-Uzume, Accomplished Flamies, Lucky Pixie

Thank you jade I was wondering about the Ichigaya comp hack we should have an event running that with our high lvl clansmen this weekend. I can start collecting hacked A chips on the clan bank char for the run.

Um...don't you mean that it should be done during, No Death Penalty?
Anyway nice guide Jade. I didn't know that the Storm Pixie, Blizzard Jack Frost and Inferno Pyro Jack could be acquired from hack chip runs. I thought it was given to you automatically by Snakeman when you turn lvl 40.

Sierra and I got curious on doing the hack chip run in Ichigaya and we did it during the last No DP weekend with a lvl 30, 45 and 49 (Sie and I were lvl 36 and 39 respectively). There was a very good reason for it to be done during the death penalty and by people of at least lvl 60 because that run was a freaking nightmare! (Our living room was filled with the screams of me and sie trying to do a futile attempt of running away from the Dabster Titanias) We died a lot before we could even kill 1 Dabster Titania and according to one of the members of the party, the timer does affect what kind or at least the difficulty level of the demons that spawn in the next room. I can't confirm this as I have never successfully finished the hack chip run, and honestly I don't plan on doing it again, at least not till I reach lvl 60 or so. XD
