    Ishi's guide for the Great Accord

    Post  Ishi on Mon Mar 23, 2009 1:00 pm

    This guide is still incomplete (and it could be wrong at some places). I'll add more information as I go.

    So what's the Great Accord?
    The Great Accord is a war between the Messians and the Gaians. The Messians and Gaians will ask you, fellow Demon Buster, to join in their battle against each other. Also your alignment does affect which of the war you can join, Law players can't join the Gaian War and vice versa while Neutral players can join both wars.
    Proof that Neutral Players can join both wars...(Yes, I am neutral)

    When does it happen?
    This event happens during the weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays at these times:
    11am - 12pm EST/ 8am - 9am PST / 4pm - 5pm GMT .
    and
    5pm - 6pm EST / 2pm - 3pm PST / 10am - 11am GMT

    Where do I sign up?
    You sign up by speaking to the NPCs in the alignment towns. Arcadia for the Messian War and Souhonzan for the Gaian War.
    You must sign up during the weekdays. If you sign up during the weekends or when the war is going on, you won't be able to join. Minimum level for joining the war is level 20.

    So what do I get?
    By completing the war, you'll get some exp, macca and a Traesto stone of the opposite alignment town, along with some tickets for which you can collect to trade for certain items or use for the lottery.
    It takes a pretty long while to accumulate the number of tickets to get certain items, therefore it's advised that you use up the tickets for the lottery instead.
    The lottery will give you a random prize from the list of items you can trade the tickets for and if you're lucky, you might just get one of the rare ones.

    ==================
    THE ARCADIA WARS
    ==================

    There are 5 levels to this war, depending on which level of the war given, you'll have to exterminate a certain amount of specific enemies.

    Lvl 1(For Lvl21-30): Fifteen Invader Blobs.

    Lvl 2(For Lvl31-40): Ten each of Invader Tarakas, Invade Karasu-Tengus, and Invader Onis.

    Lvl 3(For Lvl41-50): Five Invader Blobs and fifteen Invader Gorgons.

    Lvl 4(For Lvl51-60): Ten Invader Gorgons and five Invader Nizzhogs.

    Lvl 5(For Lvl61-~~): Fifteen Invader Nizzhogs.

    The NPC you should speak to is Knight Templar Hiiragi. He will ask you about the Great Accord, just select "Yes" and he'll tell you about the on-going war in which you can sign up for.

    After receiving your quest, head out to Shinagawa and begin your demon hunting.
    Blob location:

    Oni, Taraka and Karasu-Tengu location:

    Nidhoggr and Gorgon location:

    After you're done with the demon hunting, head back to Arcadia and talk to Knight Templar Hiiragi again to receive your reward. To exchange your lottery tickets for prizes, talk to Knight Templar Sakaki.

    ==================
    THE GAIAN WAR
    ==================
    Like the Arcadia war, there are 5 levels to this war as well.

    White Unit(For Lvl21-30): 15 Assailant Angels

    Yellow Unit(For Lvl31-40): 15 Assailant Angels and 10 Assailant Archangels.

    Green Unit(For Lvl41-50): 25 Assailant Archangels

    Lvl 4(For Lvl51-60): ???

    Lvl 5(For Lvl61-~~): ???

    To join, head over to the gates near Fu'an Castle and speak with the Gaian Priest Sakon. He'll ask you about the Great Accord and if you would like to join their battle.

    After receiving your quest, head out to Ueno and start your Divine eradication.
    The assailant angels, archangels, principality and virtue are the invading demons I've seen so far and they're usually in large groups together. Below are a few screenshots on their locations:

    After slaying the amount of Divines needed to complete the quest, head back into Souhonzan and report back to Gaian Priest Sakon. Talk to Gaian Priest Ukon,to trade tickets for your reward or have a chance at the lottery.

    (More information will be added as I do the event)

    Your alignment won't be changed by joining one side or the other, will it?

    I'm trying to stay perfectly neutral.

    It doesn't alter alignment, but usually people who are neutral might only be able to join one particular side

    Thanks, I was kinda crazy for taking screenshots during the time too, so I was like, "what the heck." Also because some of our clannies were asking about it. XD

    I don't think it alters alignment at all but I'll check on it just in case. I'm not so sure about Neutral only joining one side though, I'll be testing that out myself this week.

    EDIT: As shown in the guide above, neutral people can join both sides of the war.

    Well I'll be doing both the chaos and messian side of the war this weekend to try to complete the guide, although I wouldn't be able to completely finish the Chaos side unless we have some lvl 50+ people contribute their War level and which mobs they have to hunt down.

    The event is usually done during the weekend when there is no death penalty which makes it possible to be soloed. But if you wanna join then you could ask the other clan members to help you, whether they have signed for the quest or not they can still go about killing the mobs. They just won't get anything though.

    I could possibly solo the monsters... I don't think I will die that fast, I wont let it happen lol.

    Maybe again I could miss out on this first one since this is barely my 4th day playing. It could be possible that I could do it next week.

    Silent.
